The Great Pumpkin Pie-tini

Total Time: 35 Minutes

Servings: 1

Grab From The Grocer:

  1. Rumchata Cream Liqueur

  2. Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka

  3. Pumpkin Pie Simple Syrup (we're going to make this from scratch, as we should.)

  4. Pumpkin Pie Spice

  5. Canned Organic Pumpkin

  6. Cane Sugar

  7. Torani Caramel Syrup

Unnecessary pumpkin + signage for staging completely optional, but can be found at Hob Lob.

You could literally give me anything with pumpkin in it + I would be thrilled beyond belief. Pumpkin spice counter cleaner? Oh, yeah. Pumpkin spice pasta? I'm there. So there.

All things pumpkin + orange aside, the holidays are my absolute favorite time of year. From September to January, I'm basically the happiest person alive.

I'm a doting hostess by nature, so I adore when friends + family come to town to gather around a perfectly prepared table and eat all of the good foods.

I love crafting signature cocktails themed around the holidays + this pie-tini just took the top spot for Thanksgiving.

I whipped these up for the fam when they arrived for a welcome dinner + everyone adored them; even my mother who is anti-all things pumpkin.

If you want to make it exactly the way I made it, I suggest sipping a glass of champers while preparing. There isn't a single situation bubbly doesn't pair well with,

Mixology 101:

You could skip making your simple syrup from scratch, but that wouldn't be very Martha of you. I also doubt Pumpkin Pie Simple Syrup is readily available in most stores.

Step 1 (Preparing Pumpkin Pie Simple)

  1. Whisk together one cup cane sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice and 1 1/2 cups water in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a simmer + whisk until spice is dissolved, about 5 minutes

  3. Remove from heat + allow to stand for 30 minutes

Step 2 (Shake Things Up)

  1. In a cocktail shaker, fill with ice + combine:

  • 2 ounces Rumchata Cream

  • 2 tablespoons Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie simple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree

2. Shake for 30 seconds until chilled + frothy. Drizzle caramel (care-a-mel) sauce lightly across the bottom of your preferred fancy 'tini glass. Strain into chilled 'tini glass + enjoy right away.

3. Drape yourself in front of a Thanksgiving spread + pose with your delightfully prepared cocktail for the 'Gram like you just made the cover of Southern Living.
